Boyers was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 5A All-State Team as a 1st Team OF and to the Texas Sports Writers Association 5A All-State Team as a 3rd Team OF.
As a sophomore, Boyers hit .398 with 5 2Bs, 6 3Bs, 14 RBIs, 37 Runs, a .472 OBP and a .556 SLG Pct. He was named to the 26-5A All-District Team as a 1st Team OF and to the Express News 5A All-Area Team as a 1st Team OF.
As a freshman, Boyers hit .323 with 5 2Bs, 6 3Bs, 1 HR, 18 RBIs, 31 Runs, .437 OBP, and a .525 SLG Pct. He was named the 26-5A Newcomer of the Year.
