Interview
What do you like about this year’s Lutheran South team?

I feel like there’s a lot of chemistry and we have kids that care. We have mostly seniors, so it’s kids that are always hanging out. We know each other more on a personal level. I feel like that’s going to be good this year for our team.

What do you think will be the challenges for Lutheran South?

Hmmm. Probably having younger guys on the team and trying to pass down information and stuff to them. And probably just staying as a unit this year is going to be a big key.

How has the move to private school been for you?

It’s different, the school is a lot smaller, a lot more laid back. Public school was a little hectic sometimes and there were a lot of things going on. But I feel like at a private school, there’s more kids that care about what they’re doing in the class and I feel like it’s just a better environment for me to be in.

How do you feel about Lutheran South’s chances of getting to the state tournament?

I don’t want to jinx us, but they’re high. They’re very high. We have a really good team where kids care for one another so hopefully we can take that a long way this year.
