Sept 10 THSB Player Profile: Nate Rombach, Sr, C, Mansfield Legacy

Nate Rombach is a 6’3”, 215 Catcher for the 5A Mansfield Legacy Broncos. He has committed to Texas Tech University.

In his Junior year, Rombach hit .401 with 11 2Bs, 6 HRs and 23 RBIs. He was named the 10-5A MVP. Rombach was selected to the Texas Sports Writers All-State Team as a 2nd Team Catcher and to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team as a 3rd Team Catcher.

Rombach was selected to play on the 2018 Rangers Area Code Team. He was clocked with a 1.87 pop time at several Perfect Game Showcases.

As a Sophomore, Rombach hit .407 with 9 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 7 HRs, 38 RBIs and 26 Runs. He was named the 10-6A Newcomer of the Year. He was also selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team as a 1st Team Catcher and to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as an Honorable Mention Catcher.

Rombach was selected to play on the 2017 Rangers Underclass Area Code Team.
