High School Career
In his junior season, Mitchell hit .400 with 9 Doubles, 9 Triples, 2 Home Runs, 18 RBIs, 29 Runs and 17 Stolen Bases. He was selected to Division I District 2 2nd Team.
As a sophomore, Mitchell hit .299 with 3 Doubles, 2 Triples, 3 Home Runs, 18 RBIs, 21 Runs, 11 SB and a .405 OBP.
