Sept 25 THSB Player Profile: Chandler Freeman, Sr, RHP/3B, Colleyville Heritage

Chandler Freeman is a 5’11” 190 3B/RHP for the 5A Colleyville Heritage Panthers. He has committed to Dallas Baptist University.

As a Junior, Freeman hit .400 with 3 2Bs, 4 HRs, 18 Runs and 17 RBIs. On the mound he was 3-0 with a 1.91 ERA and 19 Ks in 14.2 innings. He was named a 1st Team Designated Hitter on the 8-5A All-District Team.

Freeman was selected to play in the 2018 USA Baseball States Play game. He hit 91 MPH in a Perfect Game Showcase this summer.

As a Sophomore at 4A Liberty Hill, Freeman picked up 9 Wins with 73 Ks and a 2.47 ERA. At the plate, he hit .317 with 10 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 1 HR, 27 RBIs and 19 Runs. He was named the 19-4A MVP.

Freeman was named the Pitcher MVP in the 2017 Perfect Game Fall Underclass National Championship.

As a Freshman at Liberty Hill, Freeman was 2-3 with a 1.48 ERA and 33 Ks in 28.1 innings. At the plate, he had a .262 OBP with 2 2Bs, a HR and 7 RBIs. He was named to the 25-4A All-District Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher.

Freeman was named the Tournament MVP for the 2016 Perfect Game BA Texas Fall Championship Tournament.
