Jared Thomas is a 6-1, 175 OF/LHP for the 11-6A Waxahachie Indians. He has committed to the University of Texas.

High School Stats
In his junior season, Thomas hit .484 with 14 Doubles, 3 Triples, 4 Home Runs, 38 RBIs, 35 Runs, 22 Stolen Bases, a .590 OBP and a .821 SLG. He had the 10th highest batting average among all 6A players in Texas.  On the mound he was 6-2 with a 0.86 ERA, a 0.995 WHIP and 86 Ks in 69.1 innings. He was named the 11-6A Offensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association 6A All-State Team as a 1st Team Outfielder and to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 6A All-State Team as a 3rd Team Outfielder.
