Sept 6 THSB Player Profile: Brenden Dixon, Sr, SS, Argyle

Brenden Dixon is a 6’1″ 195 Senior Shortstop from 4A Argyle. He has committed to the University of Texas.

As a junior, Dixon hit .417 with 11 2Bs, 9 3Bs, 3 HRs, 21 RBIs, 47 runs and 20 SBs for the undefeated 37-0 State Champion Argyle Eagles. His 9 3Bs led all 4A players and his 47 Runs tied for 6th among all 4A players. Dixon was named the 9-4A Co-MVP and was selected 1st Team Infielder on the Denton Record-Chronicle All-Area Team. He was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches’ Association All-State Team as a 1st Team Shortstop and to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as a 2nd Team Shortstop.

Dixon was selected to the 2018 Rangers Area Code Team.

As a sophomore, Dixon hit .400 with 7 2Bs and 35 Runs. He was selected as a 1st Team Infielder on the 9-4A All-District Team and as a 1st Team Infielder on the Denton Record-Chronicle All-Area Team.

He was chosen to play on the 2017 Rangers Underclass Area Code Team.
