THSB Player Profile 10/30/20: Josh Alexander, Sr, RHP/1B, College Station

Josh Alexander is a 6’2” 220 RHP/1B for the 19-5A College Station Cougars. He has committed to the University of Houston.

High School Baseball
As a junior in shortened 2020 season, Alexander did not pitch due to an arm injury. At the plate, he hit .354 with 4 Doubles, 2 Home Runs 8 Runs, and 11 RBIs.

In his sophomore season, Alexander was 4-2 with a 1.77 ERA and 55 Ks in 47.1 innings. At the plate, he hit .253 with 7 Doubles, 14 Runs, 14 RBIs and a .372 OBP. He was named to the 19-5A All-District Team as a 1st Team Pitcher.
