High School Baseball
As a junior in the shortened 2020 season, Koonce hit .375 with 1 Double, 2 Triples, 6 Runs, 5 RBIs and a .512 OBP. On the mound, he was 0-2 with a 3.06 ERA and 14 Ks in 16 innings.
In his sophomore season, Koonce hit .244 with 7 Doubles, 3 Triples, 10 Runs, 17 RBIs and 10 Stolen Bases. He was named to the 16-5A All-District Team as a 2nd Team Outfielder.
