High School Baseball
As a junior in the shortened 2020 season, Garza hit ,421 with 2 Doubles, 2 Triples, 11 Runs, 7 RBIs and 6 Stolen Bases. On the mound, he was 1-1 with a 2.54 ERA and 14 Ks in 11 innings.
In his sophomore season, Garza hit .350 with 14 Doubles, 2 Triples, 2 Home Runs, 30 Runs, 24 RBIs, 8 Stolen Bases, a .397 OBP and a .550 SLG. His 14 Doubles landed him in the Top 25 in Doubles of all 5A players. He was named to the 31-5A All-District Team as a 2nd Team Utility Player.
As a freshman, Garza hit .354 with 4 Doubles, 2 Triples, 1 Home Run, 11 Runs, 15 RBIs and a .405 OBP. Garza was also named as The Monitor’s All-Area Co-Newcomer with his twin brother Emmanuel. He was named to the 31-5A All-District Team as a 2nd Team 3B.
