Devin Bennett is a 6’3” 175 RHP/INF for the 8-4A Benbrook Bobcats. He has committed to Dallas Baptist University.

High School Baseball
As a junior in the 2020 shortened season, Bennett was 1-1 with an 0.52 ERA and 14 Ks in 7 innings. At the plate, he hit .385 with 1 Double, 5 Runs and 4 RBIs.

In his sophomore year, Bennett was 10-3 with a 1.16 ERA and 120 Ks. Among all 4A pitchers, he was 7th in Strikeouts, Tied for 10th in Wins, and 21st in ERA. At the plate, he hit 3 Doubles, with 16 Runs and 12 RBIs. He was named the 9-4A Pitcher of the Year. He was also selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association 4A All-State Team as a 3rd Team Pitcher.

As a freshman, Bennett was 6-3 with a 2.28 ERA and 85 Ks in 49 innings. At the plate, he hit .329 with 6 Doubles, 1 Triple, 28 Runs, 15 RBIs and a .409 OBP. He was named the 7-4A Newcomer of the Year.
