THSB Player Profile 9/28/20: Jordan Viars, Sr, 1B/LHP, Frisco Reedy

Jordan Viars is a 6’4” 215 1B/LHP for the 9-5A Frisco Reedy Lions. He has committed to Oklahoma State University.

High School Baseball
As a junior in the shortened 2020 season, Viars hit .349 with 1 Double, 3 Triples, 3 Home Runs, 12 Runs and 20 RBIs. On the mound, he was 1-0 with a 0.87 ERA and 5 Ks in 8 innings pitched.

In his sophomore season, Viars hit .394 with 8 Doubles, 1 Triples, 3 Home Runs, 22 Runs, 25 RBIs, 6 Stolen Bases, a .487 OBP and a .596 SLG. On the mound, he was 2-4 with a 1.37 ERA and 29 Ks in 15.1 innings. He was named to the 9-5A All-District Team as a 1st Team Outfielder.

As a freshman, Viars hit .277, 9 Doubles, 4 Home Runs, 12 Runs, 24 RBIs, a .388 OBP and a .485 SLG. He was named to the 13-5A All-District Team as a 1st Team Infielder.
