Alec Carr is a 6’0”, 200 lb SS/RHP for the 6A Ft. Bend Kempner Cougars. He has committed to the University of Texas.

In his junior season, Carr hit .390 with 9 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 12 HRs, 36 RBIs, 44 Runs and 16 SBs. He led all 6A players with 12 Home Runs. On the mound, he was 2-1 with 4 Saves, an 0.41 ERA and 24 Ks in 17 innings. He was named a 1st Team SS on the 20-6A All-District Team. He was selected to the THSBCA 6A All-State Team as a 2nd Team SS and to the TSWA 6A All-State Team as a 3rd Team SS.

As a sophomore, Carr hit .364 with 3 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 3 HRs, 26 RBIs, 22 Runs and 20 SBs. On the mound he was 3-1 with a 2.83 ERA. He was named a 1st Team SS on the 23-6A All-District Team. He was selected to the TSWA 6A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention SS.

He was selected to the All-Tournament Teams at the 2017 WWBA 17U National Championship and the 2016 WWBA 16U National Championship.
