THSB Player Profile: Brett Cain, Sr, 3B, China Spring

Brett Cain is a 6’5” 210 lb Senior 3B for the 4A China Spring Cougars. He has committed to Howard College.

As a junior, Cain hit .397 with 7 2Bs, 3 HRs, and 35 RBIs. He had an OBP of .554 and scored 30 Runs. He was selected as the 1st Team 3B on the 17-4A All-District Team.

He was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All=State Team as a 3rd Team 3B. He also made the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as a 3rd Team 3B.

As a sophomore, Cain hit .429 and had 18 RBIs. He was the Offensive MVP for District 17-4A.

Cain was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team as a 3rd Team 3B. He also made the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as an Honorable Mention 3B.

As a freshman, Cain was named the 17-3A Newcomer of the Year and was selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Team as an Honorable Mention OF.

Cain is also a WR/DB on the China Spring football team.
