Dawson Barr is a 6’1” 195 lb RHP/IF for the TAPPS Division 1 Liberty Christian Warriors. He has committed to Texas Christian University.
Barr had Tommy John surgery in 2016 and did not play his junior year.
As a sophomore, Barr hit .301 with 6 2Bs, 1 HR, and 14 Runs. He pitched 11 innings and was 3-0 with a 1.90 ERA and 13 Ks. He was named Honorable Mention Pitcher on the Division 1 District 1 All-District Team.
In his freshman year, Barr was 3-1 with an 0.29 ERA and 25 Ks in 23.2 innings. He was named the D1 District 1 Newcomer of the Year and a 2nd Team All-District Pitcher.
