As a sophomore, Baker hit .269 with 6 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 1 HR, and 17 Runs. He had a .369 OBP. He was named a 2nd Team 3B on the 19-5A All-District Team.
Baker was named to the All-Tournament Teams at the 2017 WWBA 17U National Championship and the 2016 WWBA 16U National Championship.
