As a junior, Cardoza hit .412 with 5 2Bs, 1 HR and 6 RBIs. He was selected as the 10-6A Defensive MVP.

Cardoza is a 4-year starter for Richardson and was named the 10-6A Freshman of the Year in 2014.

He played summer ball with the Dallas Mustangs-Clemens.
