In his junior season, Stovern hit .370 with 5 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 2 HRs, 39 Runs, 18 RBIs and 29 SBs. On the mound, he was 5-2 wHarrisith a 1.58 ERA and 74 Ks in 66.1 innings. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 19-6A All-District Team.
As a sophomore, Stovern hit .336 with 5 2Bs, 12 RBIs, 30 Runs and 12 SBs. On the mound, he was 7-2 with a 1.29 ERA and 32 Ks. He was selected as the 19-6A Newcomer of the Year.
Stovern was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the 2016 WWBA 16U World Championship.
