THSB Player Profile: John Kodros, Sr, LHP, Coppell

John Kodros is a 6’5” 165 lb LHP for the 6A Coppell Cowboys. He has committed to Louisiana State University.

As a junior, Kodros was 8-0 with a 1.28 ERA and 62 Ks in 49 innings. He was named the Co-Pitcher MVP for District 7-6A.

Kodros was named as a 1st Team Pitcher on the Louisville Slugger High School All-American Team.

He was selected to play for the New York Yankees Area Code Team this past summer.

As a sophomore, Kodros was 1-0 with a 1.47 ERA and was named 7-6A Honorable Mention All-District.

Kodros was selected to the Texas Rangers Underclassmen Area Code Team in 2015.

Kodros has a great breaking ball with a fastball that sits at 87-89 and has touched 91.
