Josh Hranicky is a 6’3”, 245 lb LHP/1B for the 5A Port Neches-Groves Indians. He has signed with Lamar University.
In his junior season, Hranicky was 11-2 with a 1.92 ERA and 79 Ks in 58.1 innings. His 11 wins tied him for 3rd among all 5A pitchers. At the plate, he hit .314 with 3 HRs and 13 RBIs. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 22-5A All-District Team. Hranicky was selected as the TSWA 5A Most Valuable Player as well as a TSWA 5A 1st Team All-State Pitcher and a TSWA 5A Honorable Mention All-State 1B.
As a sophomore, Hranicky was 3-0 with a 2.18 ERA and 30 Ks in 16 innings.
Hranicky was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2017 WWBA 17U National Championship.
