In his junior season, Ford hit .383 with 4 2Bs, 1 3B, 27 Runs, 27 RBIs and 13 SBs. He was named a 1st Team Infielder on the 26-5A All-District Team. He was selected to the THSBCA 5A All-State Team as a 2nd Team 2B and to the TSWA 5A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention 2B.
As a sophomore, Ford his .355 with 2 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 1 HR, 19 RBIs and 30 Runs. He was named a 2nd Team 2B on the 27-5A All-District Team.
Ford was also a starter for Tivy in his freshman year.
Ford was named All-Tournament at the 2016 16U WWBA World Championship and at the 2017 17U WWBA World Championship.
