Mason Englert is 6’5”, 210 lb RHP/UTL for the 5A Forney Jackrabbits. He has committed to Texas A&M University.

In his junior season, Englert was 11-2 with 128 Ks and an 0.70 ERA. He was ranked #11 or higher of all 5A Players in those 3 categories. At the plate, he hit .330 with 7 2Bs, 27 RBIs and 15 Runs. He walked 20 times and had a .436 OBP. He was named the 15-5A MVP. He was selected to the THSBCA All-State Team as a 1st Team Pitcher and to the TSWA All=State Team as a 3rd Team Pitcher.

As a sophomore, Englert was 8-2 with 124 Ks and a 0.75 ERA. He also hit .398 with 5 2Bs, 3 3Bs, and 22 RBIs. He was named the 12-5A MVP. He was also named to the THSBCA All-State Team as a 1st Team Pitcher and to the TSWA All-State Team as an Honorable Mention Pitcher.

Englert played in the Tournament of Stars Tournament in June, 2017. He was named to the Rangers Area Code Underclass Team in 2016.
