In his junior season, Montgomery was 1-5 with a 0.63 ERA, and 80 Ks in 44.2 innings. At the plate, he hit .350 with 1 HR and 10 RBIs. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 25-6A All-District Team. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the All-Central Texas Baseball Team.
