THSB Player Profile: Saul Garza, Sr, C, Edinburg North

Saul Garza is a 6’3”, 215 lb Senior Catcherfor the Edinburg North Cougars. He is uncommitted.

In his junior season, Garza hit .518 with 13 2Bs, 6 3Bs, 3 HRs, 30 RBIs and 27 Runs. He ranked in the Top 10 among 6A players in batting average and triples. He was named as the 31-6A Co-MVP. He was also named as a 1st Team Catcher on the THSBCA All-State Team and an Honorable Mention Catcher on the TSWA All-State Team.

As a sophomore, Garza hit .408 with 6 2Bs, 3 HRs, and 27 RBIs. He was named the 31-6A Offensive Player of the Year. He was also selected as a 3rd Team Catcher on the THSBCA All-State Team.

As a freshman, Garza hit .286 with 17 RBIS and was named the 31-5A Newcomer of the Year.
