Simeon Woods-Richardson is a 6’3”, 210 lb, Senior RHP/IF from 6A Ft. Bend Kempner. He has committed to the University of Texas.

Woods-Richardson was 8-1 in 12 starts in his junior season. He led all 6A pitchers with 129 Ks and only walked 11 batters. His ERA was 1.26. At the plate, Simeon had a .430 average with 8 2Bs and 7 HRs and a .550 OBP. He had 26 RBIs and scored 27 runs with a .791 SLG%. He was the 20-6A MVP and was named a 2nd Team Pitcher of the THSBCA All-State Team and an Honorable Mention Pitcher on the TSWA All-State Team.

Woods-Richardson was selected to play for the 2017 Texas Rangers Area Code Team and for the 2016 Texas Rangers Area Code Underclassman Team. He also played this summer in the Tournament of Stars games in June.

As a sophomore, Woods-Richardson was 7-1 with 102 K’s in 62 innings and an incredibly low 0.33 ERA. At the plate, he hit .356 with 8 2Bs, 4 3Bs and 2 HRs. He knocked in 16 runs and scored 18 times. He was named the 23-6A Newcomer of the Year.
