Travis Hester is a 6’2”, 190 lb RHP/OF for the 5A College Station Cougars. He has committed to the University of Arkansas.
In his junior season, Hester was 8-0 with an 0.38 ERA and 76 Ks in 55.1 innings. He was named the 18-5A MVP. Hester was selected to the THSBCA 5A All-State Team as a 1st Team Pitcher and to the TSWA 5A All-State Team as a 3rd Team Pitcher.
As a sophomore, Hester was 10-1 with a 1.86 ERA and 68 Ks in 75.1 innings. He was named a 1st Team Pitcher on the 18-5A All-District Team. Hester was selected to the THSBCA 5A All-State as a 2nd Team Pitcher and to the TSWA 5A All-State Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher
As a freshman, Hester was 4-1 and was named the 18-5A Newcomer of the Year.
Hester was named to the All-Tournament Teams at the 2016 WWBA 16U National Championship and the 2017 WWBA 17U National Championship.
