Most Valuable Player
Brady Tackett, Sr., Windthorst — Led area with 11 wins and six home runs. Had a 1.72 ERA with 89 strikeouts, while batting .374 with 37 RBIs and 39 runs. Also member of Red River 22 Small-School football team.

Offensive MVP
Ross Todd, Sr., Holliday — Led area with 51 hits and 42 RBIs. Batted .472 with five home runs.

Pitcher of the Year
David Moffat, Sr., Rider — Went 10-1 with a 1.25 ERA, striking out 89 batters in 67 1/3 innings. Headed to UT-Arlington to play baseball.

Newcomer of the Year
Heston Tole, Fr., Bowie — Arkansas commit posted 1.85 ERA with 32 hits and a .395 batting average.

Coach of the Year
Blake Belcher, Jacksboro — Led Tigers to first district title since 2001 and first playoff berth since 2014.

THE DOZEN

Parker Kelly, Sr., Rider — Texas Tech signee led the Raiders with 33 runs scored and 32 RBIs, batting .355 and recording five saves on the mound.

Deven Smith, Sr., Rider — Led Raiders with a .430 batting average and 40 hits. Also member of Red River 22 Large-School football team.

Bryce Hughes, Sr., Rider — Led Rider with 19 stolen bases, batting .392 with 31 runs scored. Also member of Red River 22 Large-School football team.

Wyatt Grant, Jr., Burkburnett — Last year’s Newcomer of the Year, Grant batted .360 with 22 RBIs.

Chris Dickens, So., Iowa Park — Led Hawks with 33 RBIs, batting .326 with 24 runs scored.

Kase Johnson, So., Iowa Park — Led Hawks with .398 average and 34 runs scored. Recorded area-best 15 doubles and stole 20 bases.

Dillon Rodgers, Sr., Graham — 2015 Newcomer of the Year returns to Diamond Dozen after posting 1.45 ERA with 77 strikeouts.

Grant Gravitt, Sr., Holliday — Eagles ace went 10-2 with 1,38 ERA, while batting .414 with 14 doubles.

Clay Botello, Jr., Jacksboro — District MVP had area-best 100 strikeouts with a 3.34 ERA while batting .396 with team-high 28 RBIs.

Luke Dixon, Jr., Jacksboro — Led Tigers with .423 average and 36 runs scored. Had 44 hits and 25 RBIs.

Broady Flach, Sr., Windthorst — Led area with 48 runs scored and 36 stoles bases, batting .348 with 22 RBIs.

Hunter Wolf, So., Windthorst — Second in area with 47 runs scored, batting team-high .394 with 33 RBIs.
