USA Baseball 18U Clinches Spot in Gold Medal Game with 12-1 Win over Venezuela

Team USA continued their winning ways with a 12-1 over Venezuela in Game 3 of the Super Round at the COPABE U-18 Pan American Championships. The win clinched a spot in the Gold Medal Game on Sunday.

Sr Bobby Witt Jr was 2-3 with a walk and a triple, knocking in 2 runs and scoring twice. Witt Jr now has 11 RBIs during the Pan Am Championships.

Jr Drew Romo was 1-3 with an RBI. Romo has had a productive bat as well picking up his 10th RBI in yesterday’s game.

Team USA plays Nicaragua this afternoon in the final game of the Super Round.
