USA Baseball 18U Team Finishes Pool Play With Perfect Record, 13-6 Win over Dominican Republic

Team USA took a 13-6 win over the Dominican Republic Tuesday to finish Pool Play 4-0, clinching the No. 1 overall seed in the Super Round of the COPABE U-18 Pan-American Championships. Team USA will face host team Panama Wednesday evening in the first game of the Super Round.

The Woodlands Jr C Drew Romo had another big day at the plate going 2-3 with a walk, a double, 2 RBIs and a run scored. Colleyville Heritage Sr SS Bobby Witt Jr was 1-4 with a solo homer in the 3rd and a Sacrifice Fly in the 8th. Witt and Florida teammate Riley Greene has back-to-back home runs in the 3rd.
