USA Baseball 18U Team Moves to 3-0 with 15-5 Win over Brazil

The USA Baseball 18U National Team had a bit tougher opponent on Monday but still managed to roll to a 15-5 win over the Brazil National Team in the COPABE U-18 Pan American Championships.

The Woodlands Jr C Drew Romo was 2-3 with 2 BBs, a double, 3 RBIs and a run scored. Colleyville Heritage Sr SS Bobby Witt Jr was 1-4 with a walk, a stolen base and 2 runs scored.

Ft. Bend Travis Sr P Sammy Faltine pitched the last 3 innings of the game. He gave up 3 runs on 4 hit and 2 walks while striking out 4 batters.

With the win today, Team USA has clinched a spot in the Pan American Championships Super Round. They will face the Dominican Republic National Team today in the last of the opening round games with the winner of the game clinching the #1 seed out of Pool A.
