At the plate, Vestal was 5-7 in the two games with a double and a triple and 6 RBIs. He scored 2 runs and also reached base safely with a walk and HBP. On the mound, Vestal pitched 4 innings giving up only 3 hits and 2 runs while striking out 6. He was the winning pitcher for Game 2.
