1A Game Grade Team of the Week
Spurger Pirates – The Pirates play in a tough District 25.  They picked up 2 big district wins this week.   They defeated Sabine Pass (15-3) and High Island (10-3).  These wins ensured Spurger will have the 1^st place seed in the 1A bracket.

Runner Up:
Fayetteville – Secured the top seed from District 28 with a 9-0 win over Moulton.  They also defeated 2A Weimar this week.

Honorable Mention:
Gorman Panthers – The Panthers went 1-1 on the week including a win over 2A San Saba.
