Team of the Week- The Bishop Badgers finished off an impressive week, going 4-1 against 4 5A Teams and 1 4A Team. They compiled wins against Rio Grande City Grulla, CC Tulosa-Midway, SA Edison, and Gregory-Portland.
Runner-up- The Malakoff Tigers are off to a strong start, ending the week 5-0 and putting up impressive offensive numbers.
Honorable Mention– The New Diana Eagles had a great showing in the opening week, going 4-1 including 2 wins against fellow Top 30 competition.
The Gunter Tigers went 5-0 to start off their season and are looking like the threat they were expected to be in the preseason.
