Marcus Wins Big over Midland after Forced To a Game 3

It took a gritty performance in game 2 by RHP Sean Grebeck and a late inning heroic by Austen Wade to get Midland High School to game 3.

But, in Game 3 LHP Ethan Nichols for Marcus High School shut down the lineup of Midland and the Bulldogs offense was just too much. Marcus scored 11 runs on 12 hits to take the Regional Semifinal, where they will face District foe Flower Mound High School next weekend for the right to make that trip down IH-35 to the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
