Bowie Advances with 3-0 Win over McNeil

The Bowie Bulldogs advance to the Area Round of the 5A Playoffs with a 3-0 win over the Mcneil Mavericks Friday Evening.  The Bulldogs won  Game 1 on Thursday evening by a 7-4 margin.

Bowie Jr Pitcher Kyle Gray threw a complete game shutout, giving up only 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 10.  Wes Higgins had 2 RBIS with a sacrifice and a Sac Fly.  Bowie advances to meet The Woodlands in an Area Round Contest.
