El Paso All-City Baseball Team

Orlando Garcia, Americas, shortstop: Garcia is one of the top players in the city and he carries a strong bat and a good glove. He’s headed to Texas Tech to continue his baseball career.

Justin Maese, Ysleta, pitcher: Maese is one of the city’s best pitchers and he helped Ysleta get to the area round of the Class 4A playoffs and nearly willed them into the third round.

Jacob Aguilar, Montwood, infielder: Aguilar is one of the top offensive players around and was one of the most consistent players in town the past two years.

Ivan Ulloa, Eastlake, pitcher/outfielder: Ulloa is already one of the city’s top pitchers and don’t be shocked to see him be even better as a junior.

Rigo Aguilar, Hanks, infielder: Aguilar was a standout offensive player for the Knights and helped them to another bi-district title this year in Class 4A.

David Armendariz, Eastlake, pitcher/infielder: Armendariz helped pave the way for Eastlake’s run to a District 2-4A title with strong pitching and timely hitting.

Ryan Hingst, Franklin, pitcher: Hingst helped the Cougars return to the playoffs and is headed to Arizona State on a baseball scholarship.

Yahir Gurrola, El Dorado, outfielder/pitcher. Gurrola was a mainstay in helping the Aztecs become a force in District 1-5A, which included a bi-district championship this year.

Brian Kiser, Eastwood, outfielder. Kiser was a standout for the Troopers and is one of the top offensive players in the city.
