Flower Mound scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th on a error, a suicide squeeze and a bases loaded walk to win the decisive Game Three 8-7 over Southlake Carroll. The win sets up a Region 1 Final with crosstown rival Flower Mound Marcus.
Marcus and Flower Mound finished the season as Co-District Champions with both finishing the season with a 10-4 district record. Marcus was awarded the #1 seed based on the head-to-head competition with Flower Mound in district play. Marcus won the first two games 3-1, 3-0 and Flower Mound won the 3rd game by a score of 3-1.
