Ft. Bend Dulles’ Ron Washington Co-Winner in High School MLB Home Run Derby

Ron Washington Jr. and Andrew Yerzy advanced to the finals of the high school Selection Home Run Derby and competed at the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest on Monday July 13 at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

Washington, a Sophomore OF for Ft. Bend Dulles this past year, represents the Texas Rangers Area Code Team and Yerzy (C, 2016, York Mills Collegiate, Ontario, Canada) represents the New York Yankees Area Code Team.

Both Washington and Yerzy hit 12 Home Runs and finished as Co-Champions of the High School Home Rund Derby
