Katy Head Baseball Coach Tom McPherson notched his 700th career win as a High School Baseball Coach Friday night in the Tigers’ 4-0 win over Brazoswood. Coach McPherson is in his 27th year as Head Baseball Coach in Katy. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and has also coached at Canyon, Levelland, and Johnson City. In 2006, Coach McPherson led the Katy Tigers to the State Championship where they lost to #1 Nationally Ranked The Woodlands.
