Texas High School Players Do Well at Recent WWBA National Championship

Ty Madden, RHP, Sr, Cy Ranch was one of 10 players in Perfect Games “Stars on Display” (The players below are well-known commodities on the scouting scene and did nothing but cement their status as the top prospects eliglble for the 2018 MLB Draft.)

Jared Mack, RHP, Sr, Ft. Bend Ridge Point was one of 11 players mentioned in the “Arms on the Rise” (Similar to the Bats Stepping Up as listed above, this group of pitchers really stood out on the fields at the Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter)

Jacob Meador, Jr, RHP, Burleson Centennial and Matthew Thompson, Jr, RHP, Cy Ranch were among 17 listed in the “Next Wave of Talent” (This category is dedicated to the underclassmen that performed at a high level at the 2017 WWBA World Championship and represents the future wave of talent we expect to play at a high level through this time next year.)

Matthew Thompson was also listed as 3rd on the Maximum Fastball Velocity with a fastball clocked at 94.9.
