Brett Baty is a 6-3, 210 lb 3B/P for Lake Travis in class 6A. He has signed with the University of Texas.

Baty was an honorable mention Under Armour All-American in 2017 and was named to the 2nd team in 2018. He has been named the most valuable player out of 25-6A the past two seasons.

He was recognized as the Gatorade Texas player of the year this season, and recently presented a grant to the Lake Travis Youth Association for $1,000.

As a sophomore, Baty hit.414 and had a total of 39 hits. He recorded 26 RBIs and had 9 doubles and 5 home runs.

As a freshman, Baty hit .389 and had 37 hits. He also had 11 doubles and led all freshman in class 6A with 31 RBI.
