3A GameGrade Team of the Week
Marion – The Bulldogs picked up their most impressive win on the season last Monday by knocking off #2 Hallettsville, 8-4. Marion also picked up a 14-0 victory over Nixon-Smiley to remain tied for 2nd in 27-3A with Yoakum at 8-3.
Runner Up
Queen City – Coach Kennedy and the Bullodgs needed a big win and they got one over top 10 Hughes Springs, 11-4. Queen City is currently tied for second place in a district where only one game separates the top five teams in the district.
Honorable Mention
Beckville – The Bearcats appeared to be in playoff form this past week, picking up two dominating wins over top 20 White Oak (10-0) and playoff hopeful Harleton (12-0). Beckville is now 17-4 on the season and 9-2 in a tough 16-3A.
