Columbus – In a battle for playoff positioning 25-4A, Columbus got the better of Needville in their second matchup, 7-5. The Cardinals are currently tied with the Blue Jays for second place in the district at 4-2.
Honorable Mention
Sinton – The Pirates easily picked up wins over top 10 Robstown (7-2) and Aransas Pass (13-0) to take a two-game lead in 31-4A. Sinton has now won eight straight district games.
