Sergio Guerra is a 6’0” 200 C/SS/RHP for the 30-3A San Diego Vaqueros. He has committed to the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley.
High School Baseball
As a junior in the shortened 2020 season, Guerra hit .333 with 4 Doubles, 1 Triple, Home Runs, 13 Runs, and 18 RBIs. On the mound, he was 3-0 with an 0.82 ERA and 28 K’s in 17 innings.
In his sophomore season, Guerra hit .309 with 9 Doubles, 8 Runs, 9 RBIs, 10 Stolen Bases and a .410 OBP. He was named to the 30-3A All-District Team as a 2nd Team SS.
As a freshman, Guerra hit .349 with 6 Doubles, 2 Triples, 26 Runs, 14 RBIs and 10 Stolen Bases. He was named to the 31-3A All-District Team as a 2nd Team SS.
