Nov 12 THSB Player Profile: Wyatt Tucker, RHP/INF, Douglass

Wyatt Tucker is a 6’3” 205 RHP for the 2A Douglass Indians. He has committed to Texas A&M University.

High School Baseball

In his junior season, Tucker was 5-0 with a 0.52 ERA and 69 Ks in 40.1 innings. At the plate, he hit .333 with 5 2Bs, 1 HR, 13 RBIs, 22 Runs and a .458 OBP. He struggled with an injury part of the year.

As a sophomore, Tucker was 8-0 with a 0.66 ERA and 99 Ks in 63.2 innings. At the plate, he hit .276 with 7 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 2 HRs, 19 RBIs and 25 Runs. Tucker was named the 22-2A MVP. He was also selected to the Texas Sports Writers’ Association 2A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention Pitcher.

As a freshman, Tucker was 2-0 with a 3.54 ERA and 17 Ks in 12 innings. At the plate, he hit .292 with 7 RBIs.
