Francisco “Paco” Hernandez is a 6’5” 210 RHP/OF for the 6A Laredo Alexander Bulldogs. He has committed to Oklahoma State University.

High School Baseball

In his junior season, Hernandez was 6-4 with a 3.33 ERA and 80 Ks in 62.1 innings. At the plate, he hit .279 with 2 HRs and 21 RBIs. He was named to the 29-6A All-District Team as a 1st Team Pitcher and a 2nd Team Outfielder.

As a sophomore, Hernandez was 4-1 with a 1.93 ERA and 44 Ks in 42 innings. At the plate, he hit .222 with a Home Run and 27 RBIs. He was named to the 29-6A All-District Team as a 2nd Team Pitcher.

As a freshman, Hernandez was 6-2 with a 2.86 ERA and 28 Ks. He was named to the 29-6A All-District Team as a First Team Pitcher. He was also named the Freshman of the Year on the Laredo Morning Times All-City Baseball Awards.
