Ft. Bend Travis Tigers – Travis went 5-0 this week and outscored their 5A and 6A opponents 38-6 in the five games, including two shutouts.

Southlake Carroll Dragons – Southlake Carroll went 3-2 in the Tri-State Tournament in California. They beat two nationally ranked teams, J Sierra Catholic 7-0 (#8 Perfect Game) and Scottsdale Chaparral 14-3 (#16 Perfect Game). One of their losses was to #1 Nationally Ranked Orange Lutheran, Ca.

Game Grade Honorable Mention 6A Team of the Week

El Paso Americas Trailblazers – Americas went 7-0 for the week, 6-0 in the Socorro ISD Baseball Tournament.

5A Game Grade Team of the Week
Corpus Christi Ray – Ray lived up to their preseason top 10 ranking by going an impressive 6-0 in their opening week of play.  This included a 5-0 run to win the Border Olympics.

Runner Up
Magnolia West – Though limited to games due to weather, Magnolia West made the most of what they had with a 3-0 mark.  The big win was against private school preseason number 1 Concordia Lutheran.

Honorable Mention
El Paso El Dorado – El Dorado dropped their season opener, but won 6 straight in tournament play.

La Joya Palmview – Palmview is off to a perfect 4-0 start, which included 3 shutouts.

Marshall – The Mavericks are off to a nice 3-1 start, which includes a win over 4A defending state champ Pleasant Grove.

Game Grade 4A Team of the Week

Boerne Greyhounds – Boerne won 4 games with 4 shutouts.  Their pitchers gave up only 9 hits in the 4 games and struck out 27 batters in 22 innings.

Game Grade Runner-Up 4A Team of the Week

Ft. Stockton Panthers – Ft. Stockton went 5-0 this past week including 3 wins over 5A schools.  The Panthers scored 71 runs in the 5 games.

Game Grade Honorable Mention 4A Team of the Week

Orangefield Bobcats – Orangefield went 5-0 this week, 4-0 at the Bridge City Cardinal Classic and outscored their opponents 43-7 in the 5 games.

Game Grade 3A Team Of The Week

LONDON  – playing mostly in a 4A-6A tournament went 4-1 beating 6A Pharr, 4A Port Isabel with their only loss to 6A Los Fresnos

Game Grade Runner Up 3A Team Of The Week

DANBURY  – went 3-1 beating 2 4A schools, La Marque and Brazosport and 5A Beaumont United and their only loss was to Bay Area Christian the defending TAPPS D3 State Champion

Game Grade Honorable Mention 3A Team Of The Week

DIBOLL – went 4-0 beating 4A Liberty, 3A Kirbyville and Hardin and 2A Dallardsville Big Sandy

2A Game Grade Team of the Week

Thorndale – The Bulldogs went 5-0 on the week outscoring opponents 71-3.  The pitcher staff threw 3 no-hitters during the Brentwood Christian tournament defeating McGregor (8-0), St Andrews Episcopal (18-0), 3A Jarrell (10-0) and Brentwood Christian JV (16-1).  The Bulldogs hit 3 home runs on the week.

Runner Up:
Harper: The Longhorns went 5-0 on the week.  The opened the season with a 8-4 win over Ozona before going 4-0 in tournament play with wins over Sonra JV (12-0), 3A Ingram Moore, 10-0, 6-3) and Eldorado (6-3).

Honorable Mention:
Shiner: The Comanches went 3-0 in tournament play defeating 3A Hallettsville (6-4), 3A Wallis Brazos (9-3) and 3A Lexington (8-0).

Milford:  With a 7-6 win over Ft Worth Calvary Christian, the Bulldogs won their first game after return to baseball.  They have not fielded a team since 2019.
