Decatur – In a battle of top 20 teams, the Decatur Eagles got the best of the #1 Argyle Eagles in a 2-1 victory.  Decatur now sits at 2-0 in 9-4A and 13-5 overall.

Runner Up
Lubbock Estacado – The Matadors pulled off an impressive 10-8 win over a Levelland team that was 18-2 at the time.

Honorable Mention
Silsbee – The Tigers lived up to their lofty ranking by picking up two impressive wins over Bridge City (9-1) and Orangefield (7-6).
