5A Game Grade Team of the Week
Corpus Christi Carroll – Caroll not only beat #2 Gregory-Portland, but pulled off a 10-0 run-rule in the process.

Runner Up
McAllen – The Bulldogs are now tied atop the 31-5A standings after downing #3 Sharyland Pioneer, 6-3.

Honorable Mention
Georgetown – The Eagles easily beat top 10 Cedar Park (9-1) and now sit in a 3-way tie for 3rd in a very deep 25-5A.
Red Oak – The Hawks are right in the middle of the 14-5A playoff picture after picking up two huge wins over Cleburne (3-2) and Midlothian (11-10).
Pflugerville Hendrickson – Hendrickson picked up two wins over Manor to improve to 7-1 in 18-5A, but also nabbed a quality win over then #16 6A Round Rock, 6-5.
Denison – The Yellow Jackets picked up back-to-back quality wins over top 20 The Colony (4-1) and Wylie East (6-2).
Magnolia – The Bulldogs enter the top 25 rankings this week after sweeping A&M Consolidated, 5-4 & 5-1.
Leander Rouse – Coach Krempin’s crew picked up two important wins over Marbles Falls (19-6) and Leander (6-0) to remain near the top of the 25-5A standings.
New Braunfels Canyon – Canyon in one of the hottest teams in the state, winning 12 straight while coasting by previous district leader Dripping Springs, 10-0.
Burleson – The Elks scratched two important wins over cross-town rival Centennial to remain in strong playoff contention out of 8-5A.
