He was named a 5-6A 1st Team All-District SS and a member of the Denton Record-Chronicle’s All Area Baseball Team. He was also named to the Texas Sports Writers Association 6A All-State Team as an Honorable Mention SS.
As a sophomore in the 2020 shortened season, Jones hit .425 with 3 Doubles, 1 Triple, 3 Home Runs, 14 RBIs and 13 Runs.
As a freshman, Jones hit .337 with 7 Doubles, 1 Home Run, 11 RBIs, 21 Runs and a .422 OBP.
